Top: Zara / Shorts: American Apparel / Oxfords: Rubi Shoes / Bag: Charles and Keith / Necklace: Sportsgirl

So glad I got to wear this top today that I got from Zara in Singapore. It was meant to be for my winter wardrobe but today was so gorgeous, and so is the rest of the week, yay! It also appears that this top has made me look preggers in these photos. =/

I caught up for lunch with my two friends today. Finally got the chance to try out Cantina in Mt Lawley, and ohhhh my god I wish I went sooner. Must try it for breakfast. Om nom! After lunch, I checked into Witchery down the road and decided to spend the $20 that was loaded on my Witchery card. I saw a blue long sleeved blouse but it just didn’t fit right (was just too big for me *sigh*), so I settled on a scarf instead. No biggie. Can’t wait till winter!

After that bit of shopping, I made more holes in my wallet. I got myself the Triple J Hottest 100 compilation and Foster The People’s album ($9.99, what a steal!), but decided to not get Grouplove’s, The Black Keys’, and Matt Corby’s albums. :( Meanwhile, through work, J can get cheap or free tickets to gigs played at the Astor next door so I’m hoping to go to Matt Corby’s show in a few months. Yeow!

My final week of holidays is coming to an end and I’m getting slightly nervous, and sad. My outfit of the day posts are going to be reduced as I will be wearing nursing scrubs when work starts :( What a glamourous career I have chosen for myself.

Maxi skirt: Sportsgirl / Shirt: H&M / Belt: ASOS / Bag: ASOS / Sandals (not shown): Charles & Keith

It’s a 37 degree day today so yes, I am a bit crazy wearing a maxi skirt today. Oh well.

Tonight I’m making grilled chicken with caramelised peaches. Yummo! It’s been a while since I last cooked something. Hopefully I’ll have time to make cookies and cream fudge tonight (was meant to yesterday). But what I could go for right now is $1 Ice cream sandwiches from Singapore. Damn. I miss them. Today’s the day I’ve been waiting for for four years!

I’m finally graduating from uni tonight. I can’t believe how fast four years has gone by. When I went to collect my regalia yesterday, I missed being a student. I’ll miss being able to skip lectures, I’ll miss the student and concession prices, I’ll miss having a reason to go onto the campus. I certainly won’t miss the assignments and exams, though!

Still trying to toss up between heels or flats tonight. Being comfortable and not falling flat on my face, or style? Hmmmm.

Sweater top: Country Road / Shorts: ASOS / Black studded loafers: Rubi Shoes (not shown) / Necklace: Lovisa / Beanie: Sportsgirl / Satchel bag: Charles & Keith (not shown)

It’s been four years since J and I said those three words. We didn’t go out tonight, we ended up cooking for his family again so that his mum gets a break. We made chicken and vegetable stir fry, sooo yum and so easy :)

I got the rest of my Melbourne purchases today from my sister (yay!) as well as my first two pairs of Christian Louboutin ankle boots (double yay!) which she gave me. I can’t start wearing them yet because going on my tippy toes on my right foot still hurts, but I can’t wait until I can! I’m thinking of wearing them for my graduation in 2 weeks but it might be too much so I need to see what I could wear. I don’t even know what my outfit is yet!

J finally got his passport done today after putting it off for too long (despite I told him to do it since November). He always manages to put things off until last minute and I’m always reminding him to get things done. Anyway, after driving back and forth to one post office to another before the 12 o’clock deadline, the form has finally been handed in. Hopefully it will arrive before our trip in 3 weeks.

I came back home a while ago and I am so ready for sleep right now. Leaving things to the morning seems like a good idea (now, but won’t be in the morning!). :s

Top: Dotti / Maxi skirt: Cotton On / Sandals: KO / Belt: Open Closet / Necklace: Sportsgirl / Bag: Charles and Keith

I’m so glad that Perth has been having a relief from all the hot weather we’ve been having lately. It’s almost as if we brought along the wet weather from Melbourne. I can’t wait until the weekend so I can see my gorgeous niece. I miss her so much! Pretty sure she’s walking properly now. So quick!

I’m going to go get my Grill’d fix for lunch later, after J finished work. Tomorrow is one of our anniversaries, and I’m craving ribs soooo bad for some reason, so we might head out to dinner tomorrow night (even though we should be saving for Singapore).

I’m handing in my resignation letter to work next week just incase I needed to give them two weeks notice. I’m so nervous. I really don’t want to quit. After having trouble finding work for 1.5 years, I finally found one that is suited to me, only to leave a few months later. Oh well. Life goes on.

Shirt dress: Cotton On / Shorts: ASOS / Necklace: Sportsgirl / Sandals: (forgot and can’t read the name!) / Bag: Charles & Keith

I had the most amazing time in Melbourne over the weekend. I came back last night to disgusting hot weather. Bah. I forgot how hot Perth was.

We ate till we couldn’t eat anymore, we walked until I sprained my ankle, we shopped till we dropped, we gambled until we were tired. Sooooo good.

Wasn’t expecting to cook dinner tonight since my foot is still sore and i don’t really want to cook after having all that delicious food in Melbourne, but there’s nothing much in the fridge so looks like I’ll be cooking. Going to make a nice potato salad - so perfect for summer. I’m hoping I’ll be okay to drive later. I’ll be going to watch J’s weekly touch rugby game and tonight he’s going to play after having multiple injuries which have prevented him from playing in our mixed team and the men’s team this season.

It’s good to be back but I wish I wasn’t, haha. I’m so ready to leave again in 25 days for Singapore!

Jumpsuit: ASOS / Clutch: A gift from Singapore / Wedges: Rubi Shoes / Cuff: ASOS / Ring: Sportsgirl

Another stinking hot and humid day today. Blah! Don’t know how I’m going to sleep tonight considering that I’m actually sticking to my sheets. Oh well. An early preparation for Singapore. :P

(Source: lovemex)

Today was pretty eh, just a really hot day. Blah. Way too hot to stay at home… what better way than to go shopping? :) I did buy a few things with my trusty little staff discount. Finally found more colours of my maxi skirt *yay*! Also got around to finally buying that crochet skirt. Still tried to find those Lindsay slippers to no avail. :(

Anyway, today I wore:

Cotton On Oslo Crochet top

ASOS Belted Roll Hem Shorts

Sportsgirl white spaghetti strap top

Valleygirl leaf pendant (old)

Rubi Shoes pale pink snake print ballet flats

Charles & Keith leather satchel bag

As always, I’m always indecisive. So I ended up changing the tops. As I was cleaning my clothes rack, I saw this top that had fallen on the floor and wondered why I didn’t give this top a chance. I reckon this one is a little better than the ASOS top, considering for the type of event I’m going to tonight. I feel that this looks more formal now, the other outfit was more like a day outfit. So I changed the belt to a tan coloured belt to bring the two colours together, and neutralise it a bit, to make it look more down-to-earth. In the end, I think I did alright. :)

Top: Sportsgirl
Belt: ASOS

Better? Worse?
