I just came home from a birthday dinner with my friends for one of my best friends at Tsunami in Mosman Park. I’ve always wanted to try that place and I’m glad I got to!

I regrettably forgot my camera tonight, and did not have enough time to turn around and drive back to my boyf’s house, so I had to make do with my iPhone camera tonight… which is TERRIBLE in low light, by the way… and using the flash is just as worse. So don’t mind the terrible photos!

Tomorrow is one of my last shifts at work *sad face*. I’m going to head to the Cotton On mega store right which right across from my work, and use up what I have left on my staff card, before I return it on Friday. :( So sad. But excited at the same time because Singapore is OFFICIALLY in 3 days!!!!!!! I need to start packing properly now, and continue planning my shopping list!

More importantly, my uni textbooks have been selling really well lately and they’re nearly all sold (I had about 8 books to sell, plus a lab coat and two nursing uniforms), so hopefully before Singapore, the two books, which I’m waiting to be collected, will be sold! Yay for spending money! :)

This is basically how I’m keeping cool right now.

It was 38C today. Tomorrow is 40C. The rest of the week is pretty much the same, with Saturday being 42C (you don’t know how glad I am to be flying out that day!). I’m over at J’s house, which he does not have air conditioning.. So it is so easy for me to go home and enjoy my glorious air conditioner.

We used to religiously use this air cooler when I was younger. I remember just sitting in front of it on hot summer nights. It takes water and ice, so I used to always fill up the ice tank and try to melt them so it would be colder. My parents let J have this air cooler now, since he only uses one fan for his atrociously hot room. Yesterday, in my mum’s own words, she said, “wow, 42 degrees! We’re going to die! Oh my god!”

I wish i could swim in the ice in the cooler.

Does anyone know where I can get Zoya nail polish remover from? Either in Melbourne or Perth, preferably not online. I used this the other day and was amazed at how well it works, and the flipper was awesome as well.

So for our 50 month anniversary, we had Korean BBQ and steamboat for dinner. We went to Sinabro, after seeing many positive reviews and a recommendation from my sister. I hadn’t even seen the restaurant before despite always passing by it.

Anyway, it was sooooo delicious, and so filling. I could have just cooked all the meat and eat them with veggies, and that’s it (minus any rice or noodles!). J went crazy though… He loves Korean BBQ AND steamboat, so having them both for dinner made him really happy. At times like these, I wish I had a second stomach!

Not to mention I think I cleaned out all their watermelon. Oops.

The weather has been pretty cray cray lately. It’s summer, so we’re getting the typical high 30C weather, but we’ve been getting rain as well. So last night, there was an erratic lightning show, which I was watching out the window on my bed.
I wish I had a good lens to capture the bolts but this one is the best I could come up with, with the bolts every 5-10 lightning flashes (really annoying!). My camera focused on the window instead, hence the bolt being blurry… grrrr!
Thankfully, I managed to sleep through the thunder this morning. :)

It’s been stormy here recently. I managed to snap a shot of a rainbow outside my house just before.
