I just came home from a birthday dinner with my friends for one of my best friends at Tsunami in Mosman Park. I’ve always wanted to try that place and I’m glad I got to!
I regrettably forgot my camera tonight, and did not have enough time to turn around and drive back to my boyf’s house, so I had to make do with my iPhone camera tonight… which is TERRIBLE in low light, by the way… and using the flash is just as worse. So don’t mind the terrible photos!
Tomorrow is one of my last shifts at work *sad face*. I’m going to head to the Cotton On mega store right which right across from my work, and use up what I have left on my staff card, before I return it on Friday. :( So sad. But excited at the same time because Singapore is OFFICIALLY in 3 days!!!!!!! I need to start packing properly now, and continue planning my shopping list!
More importantly, my uni textbooks have been selling really well lately and they’re nearly all sold (I had about 8 books to sell, plus a lab coat and two nursing uniforms), so hopefully before Singapore, the two books, which I’m waiting to be collected, will be sold! Yay for spending money! :)
J ended up making steak and asparagus salad last night. I felt bad just sitting there while he slaved away in the kitchen. I really wanted to help him but I’m so proud of him that he made a dinner from scratch by himself, with zero help from me (but a little help from my sister!). He said he enjoyed it but wants me to teach him how to make salad dressing properly.. hah!
The verdict? Mmmmm! Yum! :)
I love the feeling of J cooking for me and not knowing what he’s cooking (cos he’s never done it before). Although I kind of know what he’s cooking now, as he had trouble finding a cut of meat in the supermarket today, thus had to ask me for help. He doesn’t know that I’m two tone chocolate mousse (which is hidden away in my fridge at the moment) so I hope he’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Overall, I had such an awesome 22nd birthday celebration. Saturday is day 3 and my last day, which I’m celebrating my birthday and my niece’s 1st birthday with my family. :) Buffet! YAY!
