So glad I got to wear this top today that I got from Zara in Singapore. It was meant to be for my winter wardrobe but today was so gorgeous, and so is the rest of the week, yay! It also appears that this top has made me look preggers in these photos. =/
I caught up for lunch with my two friends today. Finally got the chance to try out Cantina in Mt Lawley, and ohhhh my god I wish I went sooner. Must try it for breakfast. Om nom! After lunch, I checked into Witchery down the road and decided to spend the $20 that was loaded on my Witchery card. I saw a blue long sleeved blouse but it just didn’t fit right (was just too big for me *sigh*), so I settled on a scarf instead. No biggie. Can’t wait till winter!
After that bit of shopping, I made more holes in my wallet. I got myself the Triple J Hottest 100 compilation and Foster The People’s album ($9.99, what a steal!), but decided to not get Grouplove’s, The Black Keys’, and Matt Corby’s albums. :( Meanwhile, through work, J can get cheap or free tickets to gigs played at the Astor next door so I’m hoping to go to Matt Corby’s show in a few months. Yeow!
My final week of holidays is coming to an end and I’m getting slightly nervous, and sad. My outfit of the day posts are going to be reduced as I will be wearing nursing scrubs when work starts :( What a glamourous career I have chosen for myself.

I am so sore from bowling last night. How pathetic! I did manage to beat my high score though… Yay! We ended up playing six games. Two is just not enough!
I just made cookies and cream fudge. I’ve been meaning to make it for ages now. Hope it’s super delicious once it’s set!!! :)
Today’s weather is such a nice relief from the past few days. I even contemplated wearing a sweater today, but boy am I glad I didn’t. Oh well. The rest of the week is going to be gorrrgeous!
Tonight is date night, so J and I are going to go out for dinner and go bowling. Typical date night. Haha. Total class.
Sooo I’ve almost finished unpacking my suitcase (as you can tell in the background of my photos). Unpacking can be such a chore. Yawn.
I tried to upload my day to day experiences in Singapore buuut that’s also a chore and going through almost 2,000 photos between mine and J’s photos is giving me a headache. So I’ll try to find the time to do it some time.
Today is such a scorcher and so is the rest of the weekend. I totally did not miss the Perth weather while I was overseas! At least tomorrow I’ll get to see my family and Kenzie as I haven’t seen them in two weeks.
Today is J’s little brother’s year 12 ball. So weird seeing him all grown up. I remember when he was shorter than me, before being a teenager… now he’s practically double my height and attending his senior ball tonight. Talk about time flying by!
Top: Dotti / Maxi skirt: Cotton On / Sandals: KO / Belt: Open Closet / Necklace: Sportsgirl / Bag: Charles and Keith
I’m so glad that Perth has been having a relief from all the hot weather we’ve been having lately. It’s almost as if we brought along the wet weather from Melbourne. I can’t wait until the weekend so I can see my gorgeous niece. I miss her so much! Pretty sure she’s walking properly now. So quick!
I’m going to go get my Grill’d fix for lunch later, after J finished work. Tomorrow is one of our anniversaries, and I’m craving ribs soooo bad for some reason, so we might head out to dinner tomorrow night (even though we should be saving for Singapore).
I’m handing in my resignation letter to work next week just incase I needed to give them two weeks notice. I’m so nervous. I really don’t want to quit. After having trouble finding work for 1.5 years, I finally found one that is suited to me, only to leave a few months later. Oh well. Life goes on.
Shirt dress: Cotton On / Shorts: ASOS / Necklace: Sportsgirl / Sandals: (forgot and can’t read the name!) / Bag: Charles & Keith
I had the most amazing time in Melbourne over the weekend. I came back last night to disgusting hot weather. Bah. I forgot how hot Perth was.
We ate till we couldn’t eat anymore, we walked until I sprained my ankle, we shopped till we dropped, we gambled until we were tired. Sooooo good.
Wasn’t expecting to cook dinner tonight since my foot is still sore and i don’t really want to cook after having all that delicious food in Melbourne, but there’s nothing much in the fridge so looks like I’ll be cooking. Going to make a nice potato salad - so perfect for summer. I’m hoping I’ll be okay to drive later. I’ll be going to watch J’s weekly touch rugby game and tonight he’s going to play after having multiple injuries which have prevented him from playing in our mixed team and the men’s team this season.
It’s good to be back but I wish I wasn’t, haha. I’m so ready to leave again in 25 days for Singapore!
Top: Bardot / Shorts: ASOS / Loafers: Rubi Shoes / Bag: Charles & Keith
The girls came over last night to plan our Melbourne trip next week. I’m soooo, so, so excited! Hope we get everything done off the itinerary! Only 8 days to go now. :)
Today is excruciatingly hot. I’m waiting for the afternoon storm to come, but a nap would be soooo good right now. Meanwhile, I’m waiting on whether to go out or not. A high school friend is back in town as he is studying over at the east coast so not sure if I’ll be catching up with the guys later but it’s all good.
Tomorrow is our 50 month anniversary. I can’t believe it - he’s managed to remember but I’ve lost count of what month we’re up to (you can tell who’s the romantic one in our relationship). Not sure what we’re doing, probably not much, but I have been having this sensational insatiable (gee, sorry, sis!) craving for korean BBQ for the past few months now… yummo! :)

It was my niece’s 1st birthday party today. all grown up now… Next birthday she’ll be able to walk and talk! The place was full of babies… So cute! I’m just about to watch My Sassy Girl, one of my favourite movies. They’re turning it into a drama which I am so excited for. Yay! Anyway before I watch it, I’m wearing:
- Cotton On blouse
- ASOS rolled up hem shorts
- Charles & Keith satchel bag
- Dark brown sandals
Today was pretty eh, just a really hot day. Blah. Way too hot to stay at home… what better way than to go shopping? :) I did buy a few things with my trusty little staff discount. Finally found more colours of my maxi skirt *yay*! Also got around to finally buying that crochet skirt. Still tried to find those Lindsay slippers to no avail. :(
Anyway, today I wore:
Sportsgirl white spaghetti strap top
Valleygirl leaf pendant (old)
Rubi Shoes pale pink snake print ballet flats
Charles & Keith leather satchel bag
Lazy day today. Although I am making dinner for J’s family tonight. Nothing special, just my yummy bangers and mash. :) will post up the recipe soon. My sister and I found it when she was still living at home and we’d always have cravings for it.
Anyway I’m in a bit of a hurry so I will edit this post later with proper everythings.
Today I’m wearing:
Sass & Bide Lady Day black skinny leg jeans
Cotton On polka dot blouse
cotton on pale pink skin print ballet flats
Charles & Keith satchel hand bag
ASOS Enamel Tree Pendant Necklace
