"The important thing is to not be bitter about life’s disappointments. Learn to let go of the past. and recognize that every day wont be sunny. And when you find yourself in the darkness of despair remember, it’s only in the black of night, that you can see the stars. And those stars will lead you back home. So don’t be afraid to make mistakes, to stumble and fall, because most of the time the greatest rewards come from doing the things that scare you the most. Maybe you’ll get everything you wished for. Maybe you’ll get more than you could have imagined. who knows where life will take you, the road is long. And in the end, the journey is the destination."

I will be spending time with these three this winter. Can’t wait!

And then the rain fell…

And then the rain fell…

Couldn’t really taste the sakura but it was still soooo yummy!

Couldn’t really taste the sakura but it was still soooo yummy!

A sneak peek of my outfit today. Perth brought out the rain today, so I knew it was denim and boots weather! My Current/Elliott Slouchy Stiletto jeans are honestly one of the best investment pieces I have ever made. The denim is so soft, and the jeans are so perfectly slouchy at the thighs but not to the point where I’m swimming in them. The ends come to a more skinny fit, which is usually how I like my pants!

I recently bought these Uniqlo Breton top in Japan, as I am an instant sucker for all things stripes (and spots). This top is more of a thick variety with a small slit at each side. I love Uniqlo for its simplicity and decent quality material, and I scored it at a measly 1000 yen, equivalent to $10. Bargain! Of course it adds to my collection of striped tops (my boyfriend didn’t believe me that this was a new top because I had so many haha).

I love, love, love my Chloe Susanna boots. I actually hadn’t worn them since my Melbourne trip, where I wore it religiously. I stopped wearing them because two studs had actually fallen off whilst I was in Melbourne, and I was afraid more would fall off, thus I limited my usage. And I forgot just how comfortable they were!

I had worn my Givenchy Antigona listerally every day for the past few weeks after I got back from Melbourne (which was when I bought it). I took it with me to Japan and honestly, got sick of how heavy it got. Before that, I wore my Proenza Schouler, I kid you not, for months. So I finally got back into it today and I missed wearing my PS11! I added my Country Road pouch in the bag as an alternative to my big wallet, and I will be doing this for my next trip to Korea in a week’s time (!).

And of course, my Thierry Lasry Orgasmy sunglasses, and my Michael Kors watch. Both items I can never leave the house without.

All this with a quick spray of Honey by Marc Jacobs. Love!

Plus a lovely smelling lit candle, a warm and thick blanket, and a comfy as hell couch - that is what I call a perfect winter’s day.
