I had the most amazing time in Melbourne over the weekend. I came back last night to disgusting hot weather. Bah. I forgot how hot Perth was.
We ate till we couldn’t eat anymore, we walked until I sprained my ankle, we shopped till we dropped, we gambled until we were tired. Sooooo good.
Wasn’t expecting to cook dinner tonight since my foot is still sore and i don’t really want to cook after having all that delicious food in Melbourne, but there’s nothing much in the fridge so looks like I’ll be cooking. Going to make a nice potato salad - so perfect for summer. I’m hoping I’ll be okay to drive later. I’ll be going to watch J’s weekly touch rugby game and tonight he’s going to play after having multiple injuries which have prevented him from playing in our mixed team and the men’s team this season.
It’s good to be back but I wish I wasn’t, haha. I’m so ready to leave again in 25 days for Singapore!

This crazy hot weather for the past week has given me a headache. I could so go for a nap right now and wake up when I fly out. I’m flying out the Melbourne early in the morning with my two best friends for the weekend. Woohoo! I’m so ready to get out of the stinking hot Perth weather. I haven’t exactly finished packing, though. Ummm.

Sooo I’ve had a pretty interesting morning so far. Currently, it’s 12:45pm and almost 40 degrees Celsius. It’s been a few days now with this crazy hot weather and I can’t wait to fly away and escape from it. I’ve been up since 4am as I had to drive my sister and her husband to the airport, which they missed, had to rebook, then had breakfast at McDonalds. Happy Australia Day! Hahaha…
My brother is hosting a party at my house today since we have air conditioning. Can’t wait for the exciting noms! Then hopefully, if it’s cooled down, we’ll watch the fireworks at a nearby hill. :) meanwhile, I’m going to play with my gorgeous baby niece!
